Summary

The main purpose of a Supply Chain Warehouse Operative is to manage the movement of goods across all sectors and distances for a range of customers, from private individuals to sole traders and through to large global organisations.

 

Work

Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.

Duties will include but not limited to:

• Adhering to Health & safety in a warehouse environment


• Teamwork & building relationships with various departments


• Receipt, control, storage, and dispatch of goods/stock


• Safe use of equipment, pump truck, and machinery


• Goods flow Product handling


• IT and digital input and management


• Stock control


• Bespoke training programmes

Your programme will be approximately 18 months in duration, and you will receive workshops in the following areas:

The EPA consists of an: Interview with portfolio of evidence and observation with questions

 

Requirements

Desirable qualifications

GCSE in:

• English (grade C/4 or above)


• Mathematics (grade C/4 or above)


• Share if you have other relevant qualifications and industry experience. The apprenticeship can be adjusted to reflect what you already know.
