LEAN Manufacturing Apprentice – Invictus Active Ltd (VAC1000321939)

Invictus Active are looking for a LEAN Manufacturing Apprentice to join their team. This hands-on role includes assembling and maintaining products, picking and packing orders, handling returns, and supporting demonstrations. A great opportunity to gain practical experience while working towards a recognised qualification.

Duties to Include

Your day-to -day job role will include:

• Assembling and building products.


• Carrying out product maintenance and repairs.


• Picking and packing orders to be dispatched.


• Checking customer returns and re-boxing.


• Assisting with customer product demonstrations and set-up.


• Checking and counting stock levels.


• Other varied and adhoc warehouse tasks.

A typical week at Invictus Active would involve:

• Using an order pick list, collecting products off shelves and packaging them with a courier label ready to be collected later in the day.


• Assembling products from kit form and packaging them ready to be sold directly to the customer.


• Assisting with a face-to-face customer assessment within the showroom in the form of attaching a product such as wheelchair power attachment and/or customising a product.


• Being involved in new product development and prototypes, working with our engineer to improve and develop them ready to be mass-produced.


• Booking in customer returns, checking them over and either fixing or re-boxing ready to be re-sold.


• General moving and lifting of products and boxes onto racking with the use of ladders and scissor lift.


• Being proactively involved in H&S to ensure a safe working environment for all.


• Being involved in workplace layout to improve efficiency and effectiveness.


• Problem-solving on a ‘never-ending improvement’ basis.

From time to time, you may be required to perform other duties as requested by your Line Manager, and whilst not listed above, these duties will be appropriate to the level of responsibility held and to the scope of the role as defined.

The training you will be getting

• Apprenticeship Standard - Lean Manufacturing Operative Level 2.
