Dental Nurse Apprentice – Hanford Dental and Implant Centre (VAC1000302724)

Brief Overview of the Role

We are looking for a motivated apprentice to undertake their dental nurse apprenticeship with ourselves. We are hard working and a patient focused team; We constantly strive to deliver excellent patient care.

Duties to Include

• Assisting the dentist during dental procedures


• Maintaining a clean and sterile environment in the dental surgery


• Preparing and sterilising instruments and equipment


• Provide chairside assistance to the dentist


• Process dental X-Rays


• Manage patient records accurately


• Be able to work independently and as part of a team


• Strong communication skills


• Strong patient care skills with a compassionate approach


• Ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages.


• Exceptional organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently

From time to time, you may be required to perform other duties as requested by your Line Manager, and whilst not listed above, these duties will be appropriate to the level of responsibility held and to the scope of the role as defined.

• Dental Nurse Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard
