Summary


DeMontfort Fine Art are the UK’s leading international publisher of original paintings and collectable limited editions. We also have an expanding network of Galleries under the name Clarendon Fine Art, and at present have up to 90 locations and are still growing! We are looking to recruit an apprentice finance assistant to add to our dynamic team.

 

Work


Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.

 

What you'll do at work



  • To support the Treasury/Finance Department

  • Help with reconciliations

  • Liaising with our galleries in supporting them with queries

  • Working on our ERP System which is Microsoft Dynamics

  • Have some good Excel skills

  • Supporting month end processes and procedures

  • Assist with journal preparation and postings

Apprenticeships include time away from working for specialist training. You’ll study to gain professional knowledge and skills

Training schedule



  • AAT Level 3 Assistant Accountant

  • Functional skills in math's and English, if required.


Your programme will be delivered online, with the following structure:

  • Every two weeks, you will attend a 3-hour live online classroom session

  • During these sessions, new topics will be taught by your tutor

  • You’ll also be expected to complete an additional 3 hours of coursework related to the session

  • Between sessions, you’ll complete self-study tasks using the BPP and Kaplan platforms, spread throughout the week

  • Required learning resources, such as textbooks, will be delivered to your home or workplace address, depending on your preference

Requirements


Desirable qualifications

GCSE in:

  • English (grade 4/C and above)

  • Maths (grade 4/C and above)

  • Share if you have other relevant qualifications and industry experience. The apprenticeship can be adjusted to reflect what you already know.
