Performance Through People is proud to offer the First Aid at Work course, designed to give employees the essential skills and confidence to respond effectively to workplace incidents and emergencies.

Under the Health and Safety (First-Aid) Regulations 1981, employers are legally required to provide adequate and appropriate first aid equipment, facilities, and trained personnel to ensure immediate assistance can be given to employees who are injured or taken ill at work. This course ensures your organisation meets those obligations while promoting a safer and more prepared working environment.

The First Aid at Work qualification covers a comprehensive range of topics, including:

  • Managing incidents and assessing situations safely
  • Administering CPR and using an Automated External Defibrillator (AED)
  • Treating injuries such as bleeding, burns, fractures, and shock
  • Recognising and responding to major illnesses such as heart attacks, strokes, and seizures

Delivered by experienced and accredited trainers, this hands-on course provides both theoretical understanding and practical skills, equipping learners to act quickly and effectively in emergencies. On successful completion, delegates will receive a Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work, valid for three years, accredited in line with the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) requirements.

By investing in high-quality first aid training, businesses not only meet their legal responsibilities but also demonstrate genuine care for the health and wellbeing of their workforce.

Places are available on our next course being held on 11th, 18th, and 25th November at Ridings House, Ridings Park, Eastern Way, Cannock, Staffordshire, WS11 7FH.
