This Level 5 Early Years Lead Apprenticeship offers an exciting opportunity to develop into a Room Leader while working in a professional early year setting. You will gain hands-on leadership experience, support day-to-day nursery operations, and help delivery high-quality care and education for children.

 

Work

Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You'll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.

 

What you'll do at work

• The Senior Nursery Nurse will have an area of responsibility within the nursery in addition to those normally expected of a Nursery Nurse


• The Senior Nursery Nurse is appointed to work with children aged 6 weeks to 5 years as part of a nursery team under the general direction of the manager/assistant manager


• To work under the direction of the Nursery Manager and Deputyas and when required


• To support the aims and objectives of the nursery and assist the Management team in the organisation of a high-quality establishment for children from birth to 5 years


• Assist in the leading and implementing the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework

Essential qualifications

GCSE in:

• English (grade 4)


• Maths (grade 4)

Early Years Educator in:

• Early Years Educator (Level 3)
