Performance Through People (PTP) is celebrating outstanding results after being ranked the UK’s top provider for the Level 2 Customer Service Practitioner apprenticeship, according to 2024/25 Department for Education achievement data.
PTP achieved an impressive 88.9% achievement rate, placing it first nationally among providers with comparable cohort sizes. The ranking is based on official Department for Education data and highlights PTP’s commitment to delivering high-quality apprenticeship training and supporting learners to achieve their full potential.
The results place PTP ahead of a number of well-known training providers and colleges, including West Suffolk College and Access Training East Midlands, both with achievement rates of 80.8%.
The Customer Service Practitioner apprenticeship is designed to develop the knowledge, skills and behaviours needed by people working in customer-facing roles, helping apprentices build confidence and develop valuable skills that can be applied directly in the workplace.
For PTP, the achievement is particularly significant because it reflects the hard work of learners, employers, tutors and the wider PTP team.
The latest results follow strong performance across PTP’s apprenticeship provision. For 2024/25, PTP achieved an overall apprenticeship achievement rate of 73.43%, compared with a national average of 65.4% with 77% expected for 2025/2026. Customer Service Practitioner was one of PTP’s five highest-performing apprenticeship standards, alongside Supply Chain Warehouse Operative, Lean Manufacturing Operative, Business Administration and Learning and Development Practitioner.
Rob Colbourne OBE, CEO of Performance Through People, said:
“We are absolutely delighted to be recognised as the number one Customer Service Practitioner apprenticeship provider based on the latest achievement data.
Behind every percentage is an individual learner who has worked hard to achieve their qualification, often while balancing the demands of a job and everyday life. We are incredibly proud of every one of them. This result is also a testament to our fantastic tutors and support teams, and to the employers who invest in their people and give our apprentices the opportunity to develop their skills in the workplace.”
“This is fantastic news for everyone at PTP. Customer service is such an important skill for businesses across every sector, and our Customer Service Practitioner apprenticeship gives people the opportunity to develop those skills while gaining valuable experience in the workplace.”
