We at Chase Dental Practice are offering a Dental Nurse/Receptionist Apprenticeship, preferably to work full time. We provide a very friendly working environment where you can gain a good knowledge and working experience in dentistry.

 

Work

Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.

• Assisting the dentist chairside


• Updating client records


• Cleaning and decontamination of tools


• Surgery


• Reception duties

Training

Apprenticeships include time away from working for specialist training. You’ll study to gain professional knowledge and skills.

• Dental nurse (GDC 2023) (level 3)

Training schedule

• This apprenticeship standard is currently delivered online


• The virtual lesson will last 3 hours, and a further 3 hours will need to be made for the apprentice to work on their coursework

 

Requirements

Desirable qualifications

GCSE in:

• English (grade C/4 or above)


• Mathematics (grade C/4 or above)


• Share if you have other relevant qualifications and industry experience.

The apprenticeship can be adjusted to reflect what you already know.

Other requirements

Candidates will need to pass a DBS check to start the role. If you are successful you will need to have your Hepatitis B vaccination.
