A great opportunity has come up for the successful candidate to join our friendly team at High Street Dental. As a trainee dental nurse, you will assist the dentist and undergo full training to develop skills to enable you to progress with a view for a full-time vacancy once qualified.
From time to time, you may be required to perform other duties as requested by your Line Manager, and whilst not listed above, these duties will be appropriate to the level of responsibility held and to the scope of the role as defined.
Candidates will need to pass a DBS check to start the role and will also be required have relevant vaccinations such as Hep B and possible Covid boosters

Duties to Include
- Assisting the dentist chairside
- Updating client records
- Cleaning and decontamination of tools and surgery
- Reception duties
- General admin duties
From time to time, you may be required to perform other duties as requested by your Line Manager, and whilst not listed above, these duties will be appropriate to the level of responsibility held and to the scope of the role as defined.
The training you will be getting
- Dental Nurse (GDC 2023) Level 3
- Functional Skills if required
- This apprenticeship standard is currently delivered online. The virtual lesson will last 3 hours, and a further 3 hours will be given for the apprentice to work on their coursework.
