Dental Nurse Apprenticeship – Pickering House Dental Practice (VAC1000297668)

Brief Overview of the Role

A great opportunity has come up for the successful candidate to join our friendly team at Pickering House. As an apprentice dental nurse, you will assist the dentist and undergo full training. This training will help you develop the skills needed to progress in your role, with the potential for a full-time role once qualified.

Duties to Include

• Assisting the dentist chairside


• Updating client records


• Cleaning and decontamination of tools and surgery


• Reception duties


• General admin duties

From time to time, you may be required to perform other duties as requested by your Line Manager, and whilst not listed above, these duties will be appropriate to the level of responsibility held and to the scope of the role as defined.

The training you will be getting

• NVQ Level 3 in Dental Nursing


• Functional Skills, if required

Other Requirements

Travel to and from the Walsall training centre once a week. Travel to and from workplace. Long hours. Annual leave of 4 weeks plus bank holidays Apprentice wage for 12 months, then National Minimum Wage.
