- Assess Safe Places of Work
- Select appropriate and cost-effective Work Equipment
COURSE CONTENT
This course will include:
- Health and Safety at Work Act 1974
- Working at Height Regulations 2005
- Falls from height – Statistics
- WAHR – Hierarchy & Risk Assessment
- Working at height options 1 – Safe Places Of Work
- GROUP EXERCISE 1 – Safe Places Of Work
- Working at height options 2 - Work Equipment
- GROUP EXERCISE 2 – Demo & Discussion (Work Equipment)
- GROUP EXERCISE 3: Risk Assessment/Equipment Selection
- Selection of fall protection equipment (includes common hazards associated with different equipment types).
- Practical assessments Theory assessment paper (multiple choice)
DURATION: 1 day
CERTIFIED COURSE:
Delegates who successfully complete this course will be issued with a certificate in line with the Health & Safety Executive directive
