Certificate in Advice and Guidance Level 3

Introduction

This particular course is designed to inform you on the systems, methods and processes for supplying impartial information to your clients that will support them in taking decisions that could affect their own and others in the organisation.

For Whom

This Level 3 NVQ Certificate in Advice and Guidance is aimed at those who work directly with clients, providing advice, disseminating information and giving some guidance. They will be working within clear guidelines dealing with information that often needs to be adapted and interpreted for the client.

What will I Learn?

The qualification covers all the systems and processes required under law and under Best Practice that will ensure impartial advice and guidance on the path of career and of progress within a career that can lead to further development. You will learn about the importance of legislation and procedures as well as attaining negotiation skills. You will understand how to facilitate learning, both on a one to one and in a group, you will interact with your clients using different media and prepare them to produce a plan of action, which will be reviewed.

Entry Requirements

There are no minimum levels of previous qualifications required. 

What Support Will I Receive?

You will be appointed a Training Adviser whose role it is to guide you through your programme by providing one to one, tuition and supporting you in your workplace. Regular Review Meetings will take place with you and your direct line manager so that we can ensure you are receiving the kind of development, motivation and well being that you need to have to help you achieve your nationally recognised qualification.

Next Steps
