We have worked with PTP since October 2017 and we have so far had over 75 learners who have or are completing apprenticeship programmes. Most of the apprentices have been employed within our Business Support Team, but we have also had new and existing staff study Regulatory Compliance, Finance and Early Years within our school settings.

PTP have always been very responsive to requests for information on new standards and they provided guidance for managers on the delivery, content and benefits to the organisation. Managers have commented how pleased they were with the knowledge of tutors and development made by their apprentices. Some of the apprentices have now secured permanent employment or gone on to complete a higher-level qualification.

The workshops run by my Tutor (Dave Price) have been an invaluable part of my development throughout my course, the interaction and breakout groups really challenged me to think outside of my industry norms and take a more global approach to how I manage my department. It has also given me the skills to plan more effectively both on a day-to-day basis and when tackling project work.

We currently have two trainees through PTP and are happy with the progress they have made, especially since having a new tutor. Amy is very helpful and informative, we are always kept in the loop. Our trainees struggled in many areas involving college before Amy joined the team.

We have been able to offer numerous permanent positions to staff that have successfully completed the apprenticeship programme with PTP. We are kept informed through regular progress meetings, and appreciate the support given to the apprentice, setting realistic target dates and providing constructive feedback.
